Tutor della CommunityWhen does summer 'officially' start where you are from?
We are all from different places in the world.
Different timezones.
Different hemispheres.
Here in the state of Michigan, in the midwest of the United State, the first day of summer is technically in June.
However, most people begin the summer season on Memorial Day Weekend, which is the last weekend of May.
Most people get an extended holiday at this time, and begin traveling and camping.

Here in the Philippines, it's mostly sunny and rainy weather all year round but the official summer months are from March to May where rainfall is very scarce.

Summer officially starts in March here in the Philippines, particularly the 2nd or 3rd week of March

In Australia, our seasons "officially" start on the first day of the month. So our southern summer begins on December 1st. To be honest, it's already quite hot by then, so as far as temperatures are concerned, we don't really notice.
The only other indicator for the start of summer is "storm season". We have severe storms (plus cyclones) at the beginning and end of summer.

Hi Chadwick, as you might have heard, the Philippines has only 2 seasons. The summer and the rainy season. We are currently experiencing summer season which started about first week of March and will last about the end of May. I remember when I was young, I used to enjoy summer vacation. My childhood memories of summer are really fun. My siblings, cousins and I used to go to the beach to swim. We would always play under the sun and just have fun. But now...? I don't know if I enjoy summer so much anymore. It has become really really hot already. You can't even just go out of the house. So sad.

Summer in Iran
Summer begins with slight decreasing of precipitation. At June temperatures are only higher than May. June is the hottest and driest month of a year. Rains are rare.
