Italki teachers- How much do you need to charge per hour to get $2500-3000 per month?
By the way I have no idea where the teachers forum is.. that's why I posted here:).

I might be wrong but I thought there was a teacher section for just teachers to ask questions to other teachers.
Edited to add: if that still exists you might find it more helpful.

One student
$3000/hour
One lesson per month
Total = $3000 per month... :)

If you work 100 hours / month on Italki i.e. 22-25 hours/week you would need to charge $25-30 /hr, ignoring the commission you pay to Italki. I doubt whether this forum can offer you that level of remuneration, so I think it fair to say that you would not be able to earn that kind of income solely by teaching on this site.

Do it to get experience, and then apply that elsewhere for a better return on your time and skills.

Why not post this on the teacher’s discussion forum?

@Natalie

When I check your profile, I see that you also teach IELTS speaking part.

So I use "find teacher" button to find teachers from UK who are NS. Then I use keyword search to search for "IELTS."

Your name doesn't appear in the search result at all.

The point is that you need to attract high paying students. Most of them tend to look for test prep OR pronunciation OR lessons for kids.

So here are my suggestions,

<ul><li>Add keyword in your profile name. It can be something like "Natalie IELTS/General/Proofreading"</li><li>Explain more about your IELTS lesson under "My Lessons & Teaching Style."</li><li>Add more details in lesson details</li></ul>

I hope this helps.
