Let’s learn Malay - World’s most casual language!
Hi dear friends from around the world,
Good news. Malaysia 🇲🇾 is now recognized by WHO as one of the safest countries to travel. Also, it is still one of the cheapest. In so, if you are planning to travel to this part of the world anytime soon, I would suggest that you can take up some Malay language course. Trust me, it’s one of the easiest language to learn. Even though English is a second language here, but it would still be advantageous to learn Malay as well, especially if you are navigating through the beaches, islands, or if you are stopping by for some street food.
So, why am I saying that Malay is easy to learn?
3 main reasons:
1) Malay uses the same characters as English (letters A to Z). No other special characters. It doesn’t even use apostrophes! How cool is that?
2) The pronounciations are exactly as the letters displayed. What you see is what you say. It’s unlike French, if you know what I mean.
3) Most of us hate grammar. What’s more interesting in learning Malay is that event though the words are jumbled up, it can still convey the same meaning! You might be thinking, how can this be? Yes, it can!
