相反来说,泰国文化里,如果对人说大声可能表示不太礼貌。

泰国新总理的姓氏是ชินวัตร(西那瓦 泰语意思是'秦王'),出自泰北华裔豪门家族,祖上来自梅州,本姓丘。丘老太爷当年移民泰国时似乎早有准备,把姓氏改为泰语的西那瓦,西那在泰语里面意思应该是秦人之意(泰国人把中国人称为秦人,说明是很古的称谓)。无论如何,丘老天爷这一改好像对风水大有助益,这不,现在他们老丘家出了两个泰国总理~<img title="[嘻嘻]" src="http://img.t.sinajs.cn/t35/style/images/common/face/ext/normal/0b/tootha_org.gif" alt="[嘻嘻]" />

I had a Chinese comment the same to me after visiting the US, saying he noticed Americans speak softly compared with Chinese. I think the general environment in China is more noisy and people like 热闹环境.

在中国大声说话也是不礼貌的。只不过有些人素质不高,不顾及别人的感受而已。慢慢来吧……
