赠汪伦
【李白】
李白乘舟将欲行，
忽闻岸上踏歌声。
桃花潭水深千尺，
不及汪伦送我情。

唐诗是中国古代先贤留给我们的伟大文化瑰宝。然而，由于年代久远，用词、韵味和语言习惯，都与当今的官方语言以及生活语言，相去甚远，故而读来感到疏远和难懂。记得我念书的时候，老师曾对我们说，学习文言文，应该把它当外语学习。

经过艰苦的学习，如今我们读起唐诗来，是能够从中获得美的享受的，但我仍然能够理解小朋友们学习古诗的艰辛。中国的上学娃，在考试的压力下，被迫要去逐字逐句地背诵大量对他们来说是外语的文言诗词文，所以他们痛恨古诗，痛恨古代诗人。小朋友们都很聪明，他们也会写古诗。不妨赏析一下他们写的“唐诗”。

【小朋友】
李白乘舟不付钱，
被我一脚踢下去。
桃花潭水深千尺，
不知李白死没死！

Suddenly, there goes a cheerful song by the bank.
So deep is Peach Blossom Lake,
but the depth equals not Li Po’s appreciation to Wang Lun’s farewell.

Tang Poetry is the great treasures the ancient Chinese left us. However, the language they used is much different from modern Chinese official language and daily language in terms of the choice of lexical resources, sounds and grammar because they were composed long time ago. As a result, they sound strange and difficult to understand. When I was a student, the teachers used to say that we should learn classical Chinese as a foreign language.

After years of hard work, we can enjoy Tang Poetries’ beauty. Yet, I understand the difficulties kids learn classical poems. Chinese school kids are forced to, because of the tests, memorize large amount of classical texts, which are foreign languages to them. As a result, they hate classical poems and those ancient poets. Kids are smart. They also compose poetry. I would like you to read the poetry written by them that resembles Tang Poetry.

So deep is Peach Blossom Lake.
Therefore, the death of Li Po is fairly guaranteed.
