Have you ever taken part in (or taught) a language class where you learned through doing?
As a teacher I am always looking for ways to make my classroom more hands-on and dramatic, I would love to hear about your experiences!

yes, and we used a practical activities such as role play, gardening, cooking and filmmaking to study English.

Role play, make someone tell a fake story and let all the students ask questions until they have conclusion. It is true or not? It has lots of fun. You could have a try.:)

Some students suggest Role-Play, but I found it is very difficult to engage students. Even my very loud and outgoing class, many students hesitate to do involve with the activity. I appreciate if you give me advice how you would like to do Role-Play. When I did a shopping Role-Pay last term with my students, I handed out scripts and prepared toy money and products.
