Could anyone suggest some movies or serials in English to watch during summer holidays? What you should know to help me with this:
1) Now I'm about Upper-Indermediate.
2) I don't like soap operas (e.g. Goosip Girl), dirty comedies and serials that were/have been ongoing for a long. Long story short: some light, a bit lonely story must be the best choice (e.g. Begin again), though don't mind watching things which are twice as more complicated (e.g. Solaris).
3) Please, don't suggest the most popular ones (e.g. Lost, Sherlock BBC, etc.).
So... any suggestions? (I'm sure it'll help not only me, but someone else too)
why dont you try some old stuff like "shawshank redemption", God father, lawrence of arabia, casablanca these are very good stories.

Ok, I gotta add one more. "Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives." You can never go wrong with that one.
If you can get a hold of a series called "The Locator," not only will you learn a lot because everyone speaks slowly on the show, you will probably be moved to tears.
