Do you mean discussions in general or language partner requests? When it comes to general discussions it really depends on the topic how popular a thread is and not if it was written by a female or male user. When it comes to language partner requests, well, I’m afraid, one major reason for women getting more attention is that men seem to prefer to writing to women. When a woman posts a language partner request, there are more men than women answering. Also, I noticed something interesting. When I had a picture of me as my avatar, I received around 5-6 random language partner requests or flirty messages by men per day (who didn’t bother to actually read my profile). Every day. Now that I have a cartoon character I don’t receive any such requests or messages.

I desagree with you because i am here to learn and to practice English and anyone reply me. I dont know if it is because I am Brazilian, Seriously, I dont know.
