Industrialized countries should help developing countries modernize
I disagree with the idea that industrialized countries should help developing countries modernize, and I have two reasons for this opinion.
First, the assistance from industrialized countries may change the environment of developing countries. If industrial factories are introduced to developing countries to provide higher wages to the local people, that will force them to change their life styles. This whole system changes their traditional lives created over generations of their history.
Second, help from industrialized countries does not solve poverty itself. It will offer many jobs to people in developing countries and opportunities to earn money. However, this only lasts as long as the help is given. This is just instant assistance (okay, but I'd probably say "short-term assistance.") and these countries need radical systemic changes to keep making money, not just a bit of help. (okay, but I think this is a bit more natural.)
For these reasons, I disagree with the idea that industrialized countries should help developing countries modernize.
