Today I met volunteers who take care of abused and abandoned dogs. I decided to take Frodo, a frightened dog (afriad dog doesn't sound right) into my custody. Frodo hasn't (I think you mean hasn't here not doesn't) had contact with people and so he doensn't have confidence in humans. I hope that if I love him, his confidence in humans will return.
