At Least You Did What You Could It’s never easy to disregard any attachment to someone especially when this person made something significant in your life. I believe that when you know to yourself that you had already done your part, and this person seemed not to care at all, then you should start to try not to settle for anything less. But if something inside you still wants to give it a try, then go for it. As they say, “You’ve got to get to the stage in life where GOING FOR IT is more important than winning or losing.”
