A glance at the graph provided reveals some striking differences between the consumption of fish, lamb, beef and chickend in a specific European country from 1979 to 2004.
There was slight decrease in fish consumed thoughout the 25 years with approximately 60 and 50 grams per person per week in 1979 and 2004, respectively.
There was an opposite trend between in the consumption of lamb and chicken. (?) Starting interacted at about 150 grams in 1979, the gap of in consumption is far and far greater and greater in the next following years. This gap reached a peak in 2004 with 250 grams for chicken and 60 grams for lamb. (This is unclear. I think what you mean is that they started about the same but as the years passed, chicken consumption increased while lamb consumption decreased).
The consumption of beef, meanwhile, which fluctuated signigicantly by 25 years significantly throughout the 25 year period, starting at 225 grams, which saw followed by a dramatical decrease in 1981 before reaching the highest point at 240 grams in 1984. The following period witnessed a strong fluctuation, this figure touched reaching the lowest point in 2002, then ended at 110 grams in the last time.
It is interesting to note that how the consumption of chicken increased dramatically while the popularity of these other foods decreased over the period.
This is a good attempt at Task 1. However, I want to remind you that what you DON'T write is almost as important as what you DO write. That is, you can't write every detail about everything because you are expected to write 150-200 words in about 20 minutes. The person reading your task 1 paper should be able to visualize the diagram you are writing about without having too many details. Also, I typically advise students to start by describing the greatest change, the largest figure, etc. You did this in your first paper but in the second you started with fish, which would not have probably been my first choice. If I can give you any extra advice, please let me know!!!
