MY ANSWER: The world have recognized that face-to-face communication is the most typical type of exchanging information between people for a long time till now. As the time goes by, people discovered many other ways to exchange information such as: e-mail, phone calls and letters. This article will compare the advantages and disadvantages of these communication methods before stating the final judgment. In the modern life, fast living caused shortage of communicating time between people; they hardly have time for meeting and talking with others face to face instead of sitting in the office and send emails or make phone calls to save their time. It is undeniable that indirect communications make our life easier and help us to exchange data with many people at once. For instance, you can sit at home and contact many clients via emails in less than ten minutes but it will take you a day to go out and meet each of them. By contrast, face to face communication is not as fast and convenient as the above methods but in my opinion its effects are far better than those practices. The biggest advantages of face to face meeting is that you can communicate with more humanity atmosphere, you are able to express the emotions and use body languages to enrich the quality of your conversation which will make the conversation more successful. However, because you cannot handle all the face-to-face meeting then just use it for important events to gain the best results. In conclusion, all of those communications methods support our daily life in its own ways and we should decide when to make a phone call or a face to face conversation base on your purpose and goals for that conversation.
