Tragedy and Comedy The style of the comedy is witty and mainly based on love. There are a lot of dialogue with which the characters put on play the story that is setted in everyday situations. The comic characters don't evolve in the course of the play and their nature is revealed by their names. The palywright mocks the vices and strangeness of the society and the most of these begins with misfortune, but in the end the protagonist doesn't die. The tragedy have a completely different style. The language is solemn and the hero or the heroins are never common people and their life is dominated by fate. In some plays the main character could be a "tragic hero" because he lives in suffering and madness, caused by his flaws and in the end he dies or commits siucide. The villain generally expiate his guilty throgh death. These deaths are based on the concept of catharsis, a Greek word meaning "purification".
