Complaint letter to a moving company Write a letter to a moving company that you have used to move your furniture and let them know you have a problem with some of the items. In your letter - Give the details of your delivery. - Explain what problems you have experienced with the furniture. - Say what you expect the company to do. Dear sir or madam, My name is Alex and I am one of your customer. I made a contract with your company last Wednesday, when you promised me to move my furniture from my old home, 20th Green Avenue, to my new home, 16th Central Avenue without any damage. At that time, your customer manager, Mrs. Jenny Smith, assured me that your company stuff would take care of my furniture and that if there would be any damaged during the moving process, your company would offer me a fair compensation. I was very satisfied with her promise and believed that nothing would go wrong. However, things did not turn out to be what I had expected. Last night, when I checked the furniture in my new home, I found that one desk got one of its legs broken and even worse, there were quite a few obvious scars left in the surface of my dinning table. That is my wife’s favorite dinning table and it costed us up to $500 to buy it! I contacted Mrs. Smith last night but she did not answered my call. This is totally unprofessional and unacceptable, and I will not tolerate a situation like this. Given the situation, I would like to hear your explanation and I hope this matter can be settled amicably. I am looking forward to your reply in due course and your earliest action. Your’s faithfully, Alex

Dear sir or madam,

My name is Alex and I am one of your customers. I entered into a contract with your company last Wednesday, when you promised to move my furniture from my old home, 20th Green Avenue, to my new home, 16th Central Avenue without any damage. At that time, your customer manager, Mrs. Jenny Smith, assured me that your company staff would take care of my furniture and that if there would be any damaged during the moving process I would be fairly compensated.
I was very satisfied with her promise and believed that nothing would go wrong. However, things did not turn out as such. Last night, when I checked the furniture after the delivery had been made, I found that one desk had a broken leg. What was even worse, there were a quite a few obviously visible scars left on the surface of my dining table. That is my wife’s favorite dining table and it's worth over $500! I contacted Mrs. Smith last night but she did not answer my call. This is totally unprofessional and unacceptable, and I am extremely dissatisfied with the situation.

I would like to hear an explanation and I hope this matter can be resolved to our mutual satisfaction. I am looking forward to prompt reply at your earliest convenience.
Yours truly,
Alex
