SLEEPING We almost spent one third of our whole lifetime to sleep, to some extent, sleeping is one of most important activity run through our entire life. The quality of sleeping indirectly reflects the quality of our living. There are following main functions of sleeping: 1, removing fatigue and recovering energy: Sleeping is the main way to ease fatigue, for our stomachs, intestines and other relative organs are synthesizing and manufacturing energy for body movement during sleeping. Besides, with the reducing of body temperature, heart rate and blood pressure, our energy can be recovered. 2, protecting brain: if the one who lack of sleeping, he will be grumpy, irate and groggy, and chronic sleeping deprivation causes illusion. On other hand, getting enough sleeping guarantees one’s alert mind and efficiency working in the daytime. 3, staying young: in recent years, a numbers of the researchers found that all healthy and long life elderly men all sleep well and naturally. I used to stay up for a long time before I got married. I seldom went to bed before 1 am, for I think I can do my own things quietly and with efficiency, eventually only surfed internet, played cyber games and watched some stupid video, all proved that I only did something to kill lonely night time and procrastinate to go sleeping. That is not a health way to live. As the age grows, I feel sleeping is more and more important, as if I stay up until 2am, I will feel headache in the next day, and those hardly happened when I was young. It is a signal to warn me that my body tells me he needs more time to sleep. Healthy body needs sufficient sleeping and healthy way of living, so I am trying to stay a regular healthy way of living now.
