Now, an increasing number of students prefer to study online than go to school. Some people think it is a good trend for society ,but others have a more negative attitude, this essay explores both sides of the debate.
First, it is no doubt that teachers can make sure learners attend class. As we know, studying is always boring and hard but teachers are able to help educators (? Who are you referring to here) control themselves. I think children will easily become lazy without teacher. What is more, the teacher can help children to study anytime. When a student learns new knowledge or some difficult subjects they usually have many problems they cannot slove it alone. If they study in a classroom, the professor would give them some advice to help them find the answer. While, those students who study by long-distance learning cannot get help so conveniently.
However, internet education also have its own advantages. AbsolutelyOnly the most experienced teacher can teach over the internet. Such as a famous professor, a knowledgable master and so on. Learners may get some speical experience from them. But as far as I am concerned, a school’s teachers already have enough knowledge and experience to teach their students. Besides, different children have different problems, these issues only can be solved through face to face teaching. That is why a school’s education cannot be transmitted by other ways.
Taking into account all of these factors, we may reach the conclusion that long-distance learning cannot replace traditional education. Learning at a school is still is the best way to receive knowledge.
