IELTS writing task 1 The pie charts below show how dangerous waste products are dealt with in three countries. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. ____________________________________________________________________________________________ The three pie charts depict the percentage of different treatments of waste products in three different countries: Republic of Korea, Sweden and United Kingdom. Overall, it can be seen that, in Europe, the biggest proportion of dangerous wastes were dealt undergrounding those products, while in Asia recycling was the main activity for these items. In detail, the amount of undergrounded rubbish accounted to 22% for the Republic of Korea, whereas it made up 55% in Sweden and a huge 82% in UK being the highest percentage in the way wastes were treated in Europe. Incineration involved only 9% of Korean waste products, while it accounted to 20% in Sweden and only to 2% in UK being the least used way to destroy useless products. Recycling was the most used operation to deal with rubbish in the Republic of Korea while it made up only a quarter in Sweden. Chemical treatment and dumping at sea accounted both to 8% in the UK, while no one of them was practised to deal with dangerous waste products in the Sweden and in the R.of Korea.

The three pie charts depict the percentage of different treatments of waste products in three different countries: Republic of Korea, Sweden and United Kingdom.

Overall, it can be seen that, in Europe, the biggest proportion of dangerous wastes were dealt undergrounding by burying those products, whilst in Asia recycling was the main activity for way of dealing with these items.

In detail, the amount of undergrounded buried rubbish accounted to for 22% for in the Republic of Korea, whereas it made up 55% in Sweden and a huge 82% in the UKbeing the highest percentage in the way wastes were treated in Europe.
