This afternoon I don't have to go to work today. 

So I am watching " Gone with the wind. " now. (This is correct but it'd sound better to have now after am, i.e. So I am now watching, 'Gone with the wind.')
I was/lived (lived sounds better as you use was later)  in Alabama for one month when I was a University student.
I visited Atlanta too.
The movie is very long, but I have nothing to do this afternoon, so I am going to finish watching it.
It is really hot outside. It is good to see a movie in an air conditioned room.

I hope you enjoy the movie. I've never seen it but I always mean to watch it.
