If you like someone

If you like somebody ,you will learn about her /hem . they like read ,and you will like read too .thay like dog ,and you think dog is not bad . Actually ,you just like her /hem .I can use 4 words to express that : Isthis "爱屋及乌"？

If you like someone then you will want/try to learn about him/her.  If they like reading then you will like reading too!  If they like dogs then perhaps you will think dogs are not bad.  Actually, it's because you like him/her.
