Different Nationality But The Same Language
Last night I skyped with a new friend from South Africa. So, now I have talked to American, British, Australian and South African people. Sometimes, people ask me if I can notice the difference (or differences) among (between is better) their English. I can't. At all. I'm not so much advanced. I know some words are different but I can't remember which speakers have used them. For example, realise and realize, or flat and apartment. Which one is British and which one is American English? Well, I think it isn't so important. People who speak English will surely understand both expressions. I hope, at least. :) Maybe in some years, I will be able to understand where people come from by their accents...I wish!
