People attend college or university for many different reasons
People attend college or university for many different reasons (for example, new experiences, career preparation, increased knowledge). Why do you think people attend college or university? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
After graduating form high school, some people choose to have a job directly. However, others make a decision to attend a college before getting a job, which is not only for the reason that they want to gain advanced knowledge, but for other reasons such as after gaining a higher degree they just can obtain a better job. For some others, it is better to them to come through college life to become independent.
Firstly, in high school students only gain the basic knowledge of science which is found many years ago and a little old-styled compared to nowadays new research, but in colleges they learn the advanced knowledge of some or just one kind of science which is the most interesting/ attrctive subject for the students. On the other hand, people with a higher degree have more competitions than others in the modern working environment. And the company prefer to give more opportunities to people with a higher degree.
In the end, there are some students, especially girls, who cannot adapt to the social environment immediately just after the high school, which maybe caused by less of group activities and introvertive character. It is better to let them come to colleges and gain experience than find a job. In a college, they are able to learn how to communicate appropriately with students and professors, how to show and contribute themselves in a subject group, and learn social skills from traveling and social groups and clubs.
Even though, not everyone must go to a college, that does can give and change people a lot no matter extrinsically and intrinsically. It is crucial that one who goes to a college knows why he goes to t
