Some tips to help you:

-"Aujourd'hui" can be translated litteraly by "of this day" (au = of, jour = day).  

- in "je suis allé" you mustn't change the verb.  Even if you had to, there wouldn't be a "e" at the end of "allé" as you are a male.

- be careful with "é" and "è"

- "à" is used to indicate the place where an action occur. For instance: "I went to work at the general bank" = "Je suis allé travailler à la banque générale".
