About my major
I majored Chinese Literature and I really love the part of classical fictions. I don't know if I use the word "fiction" is right or not, because my English teacher told me that might be called "novels" because of the worth of them. I am not good at English especially in Grammar and Vocabularies. I have took the IELTS and I can only get the score 6. It really make me up sad.
I was doing research about The History of the Chinese Literature when I was at Graduates, and now, I try to know more about the fictions written in Tang Dynasty, I really think those fictions are more interesting than the fictions nowadays, and most of them have their own philosophy about life or the society.

Instead of "fiction", you can use the term "Chinese Classical Literature". This would give roughly the same meaning but you need another extra sentence to make clear what texts you are referring to. I suspect (I am possibly wrong) that there is no direct translation into English. That's why it is difficult to describe using English.

In this case I think 'classical fiction' is correct. 'Novel' is another word for a fictional book, but when you say 'classical fiction' you're talking about a category of books, not an actual book.
Example: "This novel is classical fiction."
