My jod I work as a leading procurement specialist at a clinical research center. My employer specializes in the research and treatment of childhood cancer. On average, every month we treat about 250 children of varying severity. I'm in charge of the drugs. Every day I lead a group of three people. The head of my Department gives me applications for the purchase of necessary medicines. I analyze them (see that they comply with the law, conduct market analysis and determine the price of contracts). After I give these applications to my subordinates, who form the documentation, conduct electronic auctions and conclude contracts with their winners. My working day starts at 8-30 am and ends at 5 PM. However, I always come to work half an hour earlier, and I leave also later. This is because I have a lot of work, and I often attend meetings with the head of the research center. And my work is connected with accurate terms, therefore, it is necessary to be late and to carry out all urgent work. I can't say I'm in love with my work. It has its pros and cons. In General, I am pleased with it, because my work allows me to meet very interesting people – scientists, doctors, managers of suppliers. It is very interesting to communicate with them. I am also very glad that my work brings real benefits to children and their families... we save children from a painful death and give them a chance to live a long full life. What I don't like in my work is a lot of Russian legislation and the legislation in the field of public procurement. It is developed by people who have never worked in public procurement. That is, they do not understand how difficult it is for us to comply with the requirements of the legislation and at the same time effectively support the work of the entire cancer center. That is why I want to change the field of my activity. I always liked to communicate with people, to organize something. So far, I have only worked in the public sphere. I think it's time to try to work in an international company in sales, marketing or project management. In Russia, there are various services that accommodate vacancies in different companies. Most popular – Headhunter and Superjob. There are also specialized recruitment agencies that help to find a new job. But I think that the most effective way is to choose the company, analyze their website with vacancies, think where you could be useful and just contact directly with a recruitment specialist.

My jod

I work as a leading procurement specialist at a clinical research center.
My employer specializes in the research and treatment of childhood cancer.
On average, every month we treat about 250 children with cases of varying severity. I'm in charge of the drugs. Every day I lead a group of three people. The head of my Department gives me applications for the purchase of necessary medicines. I analyze them (see that they comply with the law, conduct market analysis and determine the price of contracts). After I give these applications to my subordinates, who complete the necessary (form sounds incorrect to my ear) documentation, conduct electronic auctions and conclude contracts with their winners. My working day starts at 8-30 am and ends at 5 PM. However, I always come to work half an hour earlier, and I also leave later. This is because I have a lot of work, and I often attend meetings with the head of the research center. And my work is connected with accurate terms; (i forgot the term, but this kind of linking word will be set off with either a period or a semi-colon)therefore, it is necessary to be late and to carry out all urgent work.
