Hi everyone! Today my english teacher corrected me when i said something like:"i do a washing-up quite often". She said, i can put adverbs of time only after "i, he, she, it and etc." Is she correct?

The first commenter is more precise, but from a USA native speaker's perspective, the sentence does sound awkward. I would say something more like: "I wash-up often." Or "I wash-up quite often/frequently."
