Hi friends, I find this sentence super duper weird, I just want to know if "of a comparable nature" in this sentence is a phrase on its own and not link together with "Others".
The sentence is as follow: "It is as good as or better than others of a comparable nature".

I think "others of a comparable nature" is a noun-phrase and means "others whose nature is comparable".

It is a phrase on its own, although it is unnecessarily formal and most people would probably say "of a similar type" or "of its kind".

Kai - From a non-technical viewpoint, the sentence is understandable and acceptable. Probably not something a person would say in everyday conversation - sounds more like something you would read in a work-related document to me.
