Speaking of music, different rigions has its own unique music style.Especially when you hear the music that is bright and gives you a feeling like a lot of people dancing around, it absolutely comes from India.Arabic music also has a special tune. It's very recognizable. As for me, I like HongKong pop music. It started from 1974.After developing for nearly 50 years, HongKong pop music has been influencing Chinese people from generation to generation, even affecting the Thai and malaysian. What is the real reason why the HongKong pop is such attractive?I will take an example for you, In 1900s, The HongKong's greatest rock band Beyond wrote and sang a song called“Glorious days” for Nelson Mandela to support the Independent Movement .Just like the lyric says"What black skin gives him is to devote himself……”.From Beyond's songs we find ourselves but what's more we can see the hope.Though the leader singer died just two years later after the song released, but the spirit of HongKong pop music has been inspiring us until today. When we go to KTV you will find these song are still popular in different age groups. These songs represent our heart and comfort us and help us overcome over and over tough periods in our lives. Not to mention there are hundreds of bands and singers like Beyond are activing with music.I love Hong Kong, I love it's pop music too.I believe Hong Kong will have a better future.

Speaking of music, different regions have their own unique music style. Especially when you hear an engaging tune that makes you feel like a lot of people would be dancing around at the sound of it, it absolutely comes from India. Arabic music also has a special tune which is very recognizable. As for me, I like Hong Kong pop music. It started in 1974 after developing for nearly 50 years. Hong Kong pop music has been influencing Chinese people for generations, even affecting the Thai and Malaysian people. What is the real reason why Hong Kong pop is such attractive? I will take an example for you, in the 90s, the Hong Kong’s greatest rock band named “Beyond” wrote and sang a song called “Glorious days” for Nelson Mandela to support the Independent Movement. Just like the lyric says “What black skin gives him is to devote himself……”. From the song performed by “Beyond”, we find ourselves but what’s more is that we can also find hope. Though the main vocalist died just two years after the song was released, the spirit of Hong Kong pop music has been inspiring us until today. When we go to KTV we find these songs are still popular in different age groups. These songs represent our heart, comfort us and always help us overcome tough periods in our lives. Not to mention that there are hundreds of bands like “Beyond” that are defending a cause through music. I love Hong Kong; I love its pop music too. I believe Hong Kong will have a better future.
