It was drizzling today, but that didn't ruin Chloe's birthday party plans. We arrived at the indoor mini zoo around six o'clock. The zookeeper gave us a tour and taught us about all the animals. The giant millipede was a big hit; everyone loved it. It can grow to be almost as thick as my wrist. Since it was in the petting zoo area, we could touch and play with it. I didn't count, but the zookeeper said it has 700 legs. I even touched a tarantula! Despite its appearance, it's actually very shy and furry. Later on I just happened to witness two raccoons fight over something. This was the most unusual birthday party ever. We cut the cake surrounded by guinea pigs, capybaras, parrots, and various bugs. What a great day!
