Hello everyone!! Could you explain one point in French language - there are “la vase” and “le vase” but if I want to say plural “les vases”, what will it means - a lot of la vase or le vase?

I imagine that as these are two very different things, it would be clear from the context.

Clear as mud. In french, lest we forget, vase is female and also vase is male. le vase = the vase; la vase = the mud, silt. Imagine vases filled with mud. Nightmare or comedic opportunity?
