Can you help me to correct😜 I have a dog to keep me company. (Means that your dog is helping you to not be lonely) I have a dog to accompany me. (Means that your dog is coming with you as you do something) She is afraid that a hamster (because it sounds like you’re talking about one specific hamster she will come in contact with) will spread disease(s). She is afraid that a hamster will spread viruses/the virus/a virus/ will carry a virus. (Disease and virus are just terms for two different kinds of maladies; i don’t know the difference well) I have a good friend, and I always call him when I need to get something off my chest (changing “and” to “when” helps change “always” to every time you need to talk rather than just all times. I have a good friend whom I always call to talk about my problems. (“And”is fine but this is better.)
Nice job! Lmk if you have questions! In the last pair, the changes I made can be applied to either sentence: I have a good friend whom I always call when I need to get something off my chest, I have a good friend, and I always call him when I need to talk about my problems.
