Hi everybody! This morning, I visited a “senior residence” with a friend of mine, who was thinking about moving there. There is a lot of facilities and services , like a dining room, nurses, physiotherapist, a small library, a hairdresser, rooms to play pool and other games, puzzles, an exercise room with a lot of machines, a small cinema, a very small swimming pool, a spa, an interior yard to do some gardening, swings, an autobus to go shopping, and activities. There are several rules written in the rental lease. There are around 300 appartements, of different sizes. The average age of residents is 84. Even if it was cheaper, or if I won the lottery, I am not sure I would like to live in that type of residence. Seems a little weird, somehow artificial. But my friend was delighted! Maybe she will make the move. Have a nice day!
