perhaps you are Not sure what a tongue twister is?
Look no further a tongue twister is a fun phrase or sentence that is known to be difficult if you try to say it quickly because it has a lot of similar sounds.
Check out these tongue twisters and what they mean:
1:"She sells seashells by the seashore."
This means a girl is selling seashells at the beach.
2:"Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers."
This means Peter Piper collected a large amount (a peck) of pickled
peppers.
3:"How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could
chuck wood?"
This is a playful question asking how much wood a woodchuck (a
type of animal) could throw if it
were able to.
4:"Betty Botter bought some butter, but she said the butter’s bitter."
This means Betty Botter purchased some butter but found it to be
too bitter.
5:"Red lorry, yellow lorry."
This simply describes a red truck and a yellow truck.
Try saying these tongue twisters quickly and see if you can do it without getting tripped up, it may take you a few tries. But practice makes perfect!
