In the past few years, the city where I live has been regarded as a rapidly-developing place that is seriously-polluted . However, with the local government attaching great importance to environment issues, air quality and so forth are remarkably improved. So I'd like to take my city as an example.
Firstly, a growing number of parks are built on every corner of the city. From my point of view, it not only purifies the air, but it also enhances the diversity of species, creates habitats for indigenous species.
Besides which, planting trees along the roadside and even on buildings is an effective way to protect the environment. Now, when walking the streets, I feel like I am wandering in a forest.
In a nutshell, developing industries never conflict with protecting the environment, if we're willing to live in harmony with nature.
