Hello. I don't know why but after quite a lot of time practicing English I still cannot understand it fully. I mean, I can't recognize every pronounced word in movie or song. I set myself a target for knowing a foreign language, and this target is to be able to repeat 99 percent of the words spoken in any movie or song. But it's still a problem for me. I can, however, understand youtube videos and bloggers; but I get stuck when I try to watch movies without subtitles in comfort. I haven't written anything in English for quite a while and now I'm doing this just sustain my current level. Also, it might seem strange, but writing helps with listening too. I need to write more often.

I define a point of knowing a foreign language for myself and this point is reached when you can repeat 99 percent of said words in any movie or song. But it's still a problem for me. I can, however, understand youtube videos, bloggers but I'm stuck at trying to watch movies comfortably, without subtitles. I haven't written anything in English for quite a while and now I'm doing this just maintain my current level. Also, no matter how strange it is, writing helps in listening too. I probably need to write more often.
