This is the story of my summer in a Chinese language program. Please see my last post first!
One day, some days after the program began, we had a class that introduced about own country to each other. I was interested in the things that one of the classmates(in Chinese it's called 同学tóng xué)had a large family and some women put on clothes around their heads. I was also surprised that the food culture is quite different from Japan even though we are both Asian countries. I thought it was important to interact with foreigners in order to learn about their culture. We learned about Chinese everyday, and finally it was the last day of the program. On the last day, there was a test and a closing ceremony. I couldn’t understand Chinese at the opening ceremony a month ago, but at a closing ceremony I could understand a little. I found that the most important way to improve my language skills was use Chinese to interact with people and communicate with them by speaking and listening. I’d like to use the things that I have learned in this program and improve my language skills!

One day, some days after the program began, we had a class where we introduced our own country to each other. I was interested in the things that one of the classmates mentioned(in Chinese it's called 同学tóng xué) - they had a large family and some women put on clothes around their heads. I was also surprised that the food culture is quite different from Japan even though we are both Asian countries.
