I die in the middle of my way, with regrets! This “half of Red Mansion” refers to this book about the Red Army and its long March. Staying outside for long, I cannot help missing the homestead. More and more people are going out for excursions. One cannot be separated from the other. The 24 bridges are still around; and swaying in the heart of the waves is the cold moon, without a sound. My thoughts are on the red peonies by the bridge: For whom do they bloom, year after year? The world it represents is a desolate one, and somewhat illusionary. It is a kind of psychological trauma left by the war, and also a reflection of the author's personal character. Poems about personal experience were also unavoidably tinged with the yearning between lovers. There are many such examples. Even poems expressing ambition and personal history, which have nothing to do with amorous feelings, have a romantic flavor.
