I got the definition of Reluctant (from Cambridge dictionary) that it is “not willing to do something and therefore slow to do it”. However, I cannot get the word meaning in the given example: “She persuaded her reluctant husband to take a trip to Florida with her”.
Could you help me with what “her reluctant husband” means?
Have a great weekend and much appreciate !

Reluctant in that sentence is an adjective describing the attitude of the “husband” towards the Florida trip. Taking into consideration the context of the statement therefore “reluctant husband” in this case means that the husband is not willing to go on the trip to Florida or husband is unsure about going on the trip to Florida.
