I honestly believe that everyone should read this book at least once in their lives. Tuesdays With Morrie is about a middle-aged sports journalist who rekindles his friendship with his old sociology professor when he becomes aware of his terminal illness. What follows is a series of meetings, on a Tuesday of course, in which the pair share some very personal moments as they explore topics such as love, family, society, death and just about everything else that is a fundamental part of being human. In my Book Club starting on Tuesday (!) we will read this wonderful book bit by bit over 4 weeks and meet each week to discuss our thoughts and opinions about the wisdom within this timeless piece of writing.
