Mr. Salvador Manzo
Insegnante professionistaA lot of people have asked me "What is the secret to language learning?" In my opinion there isn't a one way of learning a language. However , there are multiple tools at our disposal now a days. Such as teachers on iTalki, podcasts, apps, books, Anki, and many more. My biggest recommendation is to link your passions with language learning. I myself enjoy weight lifting and I have found a lot of content in social media and youtube in both Egyptian Arabic and Tagalog. When you make these connections with things you are already fond of as well as things you have a strong comprehensive knowledge in your first language, it helps you by essentially giving your brain a cheat sheet. You know what they are talking about but all you need to do is connect the dots. This same thing applies to watching your favorite movie or TV shows dubbed in your desired language. I've watched Wednesday countless times in Egyptian Arabic and now I can start to make connections with the vocabulary I am learning and what I know is happening in the show.
