What's the difference between "waffle" and "chatter” in terms of the way of talking?Thanks very much for anyone's help.

To waffle is to keep talking when you don’t need to. Maybe saying the same thing again and again.
Chatter suggests people are talking noisily and quickly.

Chatter means to talk quickly and continuously, especially about things that are not important.
Waffle is to say anything important or vague and wordy speech that cannot make clear what the opinions is about.
