How do you understand the spoken Japanese language (speech)? I have noted that the understanding of a Japanese speech is interpreted differently by persons who listen to it. For example, one disscusion http://www.italki.com/answers/question/100649-1-1-2.htm shows that some people understand the spoken Japanese speech in different ways: 1) 好かれたまた明日ね - suka retamata ashita ne 2) つかれたまたあしたね - tsukaretamataashitane 3) つかれた、また明日ね - tsukareta , mata ashita ne So in result, as you can see the beginner should study the spoken Japanese language firstly (written in Romaji), after it he/she may study the written Japanese language.

Everybody has this problem in the beginning with ANY language. You have to be familiar with it. 好かれたまた明日ね is utter nonsense, so no native would hear that.
