①You can use "ない"when you talk about still life.And you can use"いない"when you talk about living thing.
nai(ない)・・・Nothing ⇔ aru(ある)・・・It exists.
《 for the still life. 》
ex) pen(ペン)・・・pen , ringo(りんご)・・・apple , tukue(つくえ)・・・desk
inai(いない)・・・There are no one. ⇔ inai(いる)・・・There is someone.
《 for living thing 》
ex) ningen(にんげん)・・・human being , doubutu(どうぶつ)・・・animal
②"じゃない"and "ではない" are words of the denial. When you denied content of sentences, you use them. "じゃない" is a not polite word . "ではない" is a polite word.
janai(じゃない)・・・not polite word
ex)watashiha(わたしは)otoko(おとこ)janai(じゃない)・・・I'm not a man.
soreha(それは)tokei(とけい)janai(じゃない)・・・It's not a watch.
dewanai(ではない)・・・polite word
ex)watashiha(わたしは)otoko(おとこ)dewanai(ではない)・・・I'm not a man.
soreha(それは)tokei(とけい)dewanai(ではない)・・・It's not a watch.
