If I were you, I'd skip articles. They're just confusing.

In a nutshell, "the" is used something specific. "The woman is beautiful". A particular woman, that specific lady is good looking. "A woman is beautiful" means any woman is beautiful.

DEFINITE ARTICLE THE Articles in English are invariable.
