How do I say 'I went in Starbucks' ?????

I hope that someone may be able to help again.

I want to say the following in German;

'I went in Starbucks'

But I’m not sure which gender you attach to a tradename (McDonalds/Costa Coffee) I’m assuming maybe neuter and hence would be;

Ich bin ins Starbucks gegangen ?????

I went in Starbucks.  Behind the potted plants. I felt happy and guilty at the same time!

Ich gehe + nach + Ort (ohne Artikel) = nach McDonalds/Costa Coffee)

Ich gehe ins Starbucks. (In das Cafe/Restaurant. In das Gebäude. In den Raum.)

"Ich gehe zu Starbucks."
"Ich gehe zu McDonald's."
"Ich gehe zu Costa Coffee."
(Ich gehe dorthin, um es zu nutzen. Um Kaffee zu trinken oder um jemanden zu treffen.)

"Ich gehe nach Starbucks." ist falsch. "nach" kann man nur benutzen, wenn man zu einem Ort (Stadt, Dorf) oder in ein Land geht.
"Ich gehe nach München." 
"Ich gehe nach Australien." 
Aber:
"Ich gehe in die USA." (Plural - die Staaten)
"Ich gehe in die Türkei." (einige bestimmte Ländernamen)
"Ich gehe nach Aldi." (Beispiel für die falsche Nutzung von "nach" in einem Dialekt.)
