'Nothing much' or 'Not much' ?
I've got myself saying: nothing much quite regularly these days to the following question:
What's up and questions like this and I was wondering if it was ok as not much as a casual answer.

Wow, never knew these two were equally OK... Always thought "not much" is more correct, and "nothing much" just comes as a wrong version...

Yes, you can use both "nothing much" and "not much" as casual answers to questions such as "what's up". :)
