Please help me translate a text msg conversation I had with a friend? :)
So I'm pretty good at reading and writing, but slang, typos, and playful stuff throws me off track and I can't understand too well...haha. I didn't want to ask her back to clarify but could anybody please help? My comments are in parenthesis...:)
So I had just met this girl at church and playfully texting her, and then I asked her:
Me: 금요일 뭐해?^^ 일할거야?
Her: 금욜은 알바 업는날이지롱 우히히히히힣히히힣
(^ I think she made a spelling mistake and meant she didn't have work on Friday? What is the proper spelling of 업는날이지롱?)
Me: 아 글래..가자~ :)
Her: 싫어면? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Im just kiddin kkkkk
(^ I don't get the joke..."What if I don't want to? hahah"?)
and so then after a bit I say bye and goodnight..
Me: 굿나잇! 좋은 꿈꿔~
Her: ㅃㅃ2 오빠~
Me: ㅎㅎ 나중에 얘기~
(Is this how you say talk to you later?)
Her: 시로 ;p ㅃㅃ2
(^she's saying she doesn't want to in a playful way? hahah)
Oops, meant to type 싫다면?*

hahah..I can't stop laughing seeing you guys' conversation. ㅎㅎ
Her: 금욜은 알바 업는날이지롱 우히히히히힣히히힣
(^ I think she made a spelling mistake and meant she didn't have work on Friday? What is the proper spelling of 업는날이지롱?)
☞ it should be "없는 날이지~" meaning "day off on Friday"
"알바" = a part time job
"~지롱" is often used to make fun of somebody in a very cute way. haha...
Her: 싫어면? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Im just kiddin kkkkk
(^ I don't get the joke..."What if I don't want to? hahah"?)
☞ Yes, you are right. she's still kidding you.
Her: ㅃㅃ2 오빠~
☞ ㅃㅃ2 = 빠이 빠이 = 바이 바이 = bye bye
Her: 시로 ;p ㅃㅃ2
(^she's saying she doesn't want to in a playful way? hahah)
☞ "시로" = "싫어"
no, she wants to in a playful way. hahaha...
Actually she wants to talk you later, but here she is still joking around.
