what different between 'puffy" and "swell up"?
they all mean become bollon,but what different?can one instead of the other?

puffy - meaning swollen for example: your eyes are puffy stop crying now
swell up - becom larger in size due to pressure or infection
this 2 words have different meaning. Have a nice day

puffy = adjective 形容詞
swell up = verb 動詞
That's the difference.

same meaning, one is an adjective, the other a verbial phrase.
