Is there any difference between "walk stably" and "walk steadily"?
Which one should I use to describe a toddler? Thanks!

Things are stable, people are steady. Unless you are talking about a person's physical or mental health--in that case, a person could be "mentally unstable" or "in stable condition." But when it comes to balance and coordination, we use "steady."

Walking steadily should be used to describe your child.
Brad C gives an excellent definition.
