Quindi, ho cercato di nuovo un altro per prestarlo.
[ I found one , but I could not borrow, so I re-found another one . I was in the biblioteca]I find one book, but this book I can not borrow from the library. I have to put the book back and go to find another book .
Ho cercato un altro per prestarlo. E' giusto?

maybe you want to say "refund" means "restituire"

"Ho dovuto cercare un altro libro da prendere in prestito."
borrow = prendere in prestito
lend = prestare / dare in prestito
